      An Opportunity is a Lead that your sales team has checked and decided is worth following up.

      In Odoo, you usually start with Leads. When a Lead looks promising, it’s turned into an Opportunity.

      Odoo uses a visual Kanban view for the sales pipeline, where each column represents a different stage (e.g., New, Qualified, Proposal, Won/Lost). You manage opportunities by simply dragging and dropping them from one stage to the next.

      Lead Scoring is a method for ranking prospects based on criteria (e.g., explicit data like company size, or implicit data like website activity). Odoo can automatically calculate a score to help sales teams prioritize high-value leads.

      In Odoo CRM, you can set rules to automatically send new leads or opportunities to the right salesperson or team. These rules can be based on things like location, expected revenue, or how the lead was found.
